You never truly know a car until you get behind the wheel. Volvo is introducing their partnership with Bowers & Wilkins, a world-renowned audio company, to bring top-of-the-line sound to the top-of-the-line Volvo XC90 and S90.

As much as reproducing sound may be an art, it requires hardware. For those of you who need to know the numbers, we hope these are sufficiently impressive:

• Class D amplifier; 12-channels, and 1400 watts
• 10-20,000 Hz frequency range
• Less than 0.5% Total Harmonic Distortion.
• Less than 0.0004% Total

"Our cars are developed here in Sweden, and have a Swedish heritage," says Anna Rynvall, a Swedish native and User Experience and Connectivity specialist at Volvo Cars. "But there are so many other voices, voices from around the world, that lie behind the development of the car."
