The people behind the cars work long and hard to bring us a vehicle worthy of our praise, but, outside ideas are always welcome. That's why at Byers Volvo, we enjoy taking a look at models that have hit the aftermarket, as they add a new and unique flare to the vehicles we love.
Heico Sportiv is an auto tuning company that specializes in enhancing production vehicles for a wide range of uses. This time, they took a Volvo V40 hatchback and gave it a cool black paint job with red stripes surrounding the bottom, while doing the same with stitching inside the cabin on the steering wheel, gear shift, and handbrake handle. They also added new parts like a front spoiler, quad tailpipes, and a diffuser-like rear skirt.
Why?
To help Pirelli, the famed Italian tire maker celebrate 50 years of operations in Germany, and the 110th anniversary of a production facility. Of course, the final detail was fitting the 19-inch alloy wheels with 235/35R19 Pirelli P Zero tires.
Outside of that, the Volvo V40 still has many of the same features that have made it popular in Europe over the years. That includes its 1.6-liter turbocharged engine capable of churning out 148 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque.
