A few months ago Volvo turned to their fans on Facebook to get their insight on what they would like to see featured on Volvo on Call. Volvo on Call is the automaker's safety and convenience technology. Volvo saw an enormous response rate from fans, and after analyzing the desires of fans to find common themes the automaker is working around the clock to implement the most common ideas in to the upcoming edition.
One common theme Volvo saw was that fans truly want to see things made simpler and to give drivers more control. And let's be honest, sometimes it's best to go back to the basics, especially since we use them every day. It's nice to a have piece of technology giving you a friendly reminder, or knowing that certain things are constantly being monitored.
Interested to hear what some of the common themes from fans were? Volvo enthusiasts voiced their desires for a feature that helps drivers locate lost car keys. While some fans noted that they would like to see a piece of technology that notified you with the location of the closest gas station when your fuel level reaches a certain level. Parking also came up numerous times. Specifically, enthusiasts want to see a feature on Volvo on Call that gives drivers the ability to pay for parking via the app.
Volvo fans also voiced their desires to be able to customize their driving experience. For example, how the mirrors were adjusted, and the desired routes they travel. Each and every one of the ideas is something we would love to see on new Volvo vehicles at Byers Volvo. However, first things first we would just like to see Volvo on Call available in the United States. It is expected to arrive soon with the redesign of numerous models in the lineup including the XC90.
With that being said, there are currently a plethora of convenience and entertainment features that can be found on the models that are currently in our Columbus, Ohio showroom. For additional information swing by and visit us.
